Web Developer

Overview

The developer does the core work of the company, creating the integrations our clients come to us for. Developers code, but also document, estimate, assist in writing specifications, participate in meetings, sometimes attend conferences or trainings, and help to better the company as a whole. The developer works on-site in Elk Grove, California, USA.

Physical Requirements

  • Developer uses a computer for programming, communication, and writing for the vast majority of each workday
  • Occasional travel to conferences and trainings may be required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science, programming, or software engineering
  • Object oriented programming language background (PHP, Java, or C++)
  • Competence with web technologies (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility)
  • Experience working in a Linux command line environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient and effective coding skills with attention to standards compliance, error handling, and code reuse
